About Me

Along with many parents, I am very careful about what chemicals I allow my children to be exposed to. I use all-natural cleaners and I make sure to purchase organic produce whenever I can. One day, I found a recipe online for homemade, all-natural toothpaste. It was just a mixture of baking soda and natural flavoring. I thought it was a great idea, and I started having my entire family brush with it instead of our regular toothpaste. I realized I made a mistake when my children each had cavities that need filled at their next dental check-up. My dentist told me that natural toothpaste is fine to use, but I need to find a formula that contains fluoride for my children. I created this blog to help other parents avoid the mistake I did. There are natural toothpastes with fluoride you can find at health-food stores.
